A: Normal wear and tear can damage the finish, scratch, and gouge out your flooring, but when you keep them properly coated and sealed, you extend the life of the flooring and help prevent more expensive repairs.
Q: How often do hardwood floors need to be buffed and coated?
A: I would recommend coating your floors approximately every 5 years.
Q: How often can they be refinished?
A: Floors should be refinished every 7-10 years, depending on the extent of wear.
